Ok all... After months away from my hook I'm back and hooking! Started small but made a little bonnet for my girly! Going to give it a try on her when she wakes up.. What will my next project be? Ideas? 

Things are changing around here..

Ok all, it's spring and with that comes a little less crochet, a little more DIY! I thought I would share with you my first project of the season... Turned my ugly 80's -- or older, coffee table from scary to stylish in literally 10 minutes with only 6 bucks! 

Ok so this is the best "before" shot I have. I guess I was so excited to haul the thing outside and get painting that I forgot to take a shot... Notice the terrible yellow paint job on the top and the wood bottom ... Yuck!

So after a quick coat of primer I grabbed my can of spray paint and went to town here's how that turned out...

Not bad right?! But I felt it was still too dated, so I took of the doors, painted the inside and added a nice wicker basket. This is the final product.

Easter is in the air...

Easter is soon approaching and with that in mind, check out this cute-as-a-button easter basket. Made with nice thick yarn for stability when it starts filling up with chocolates. yumm yumm.

So much easier than swadling and keeps baby so warm. Made with super soft yarn. 

 

The wait is finally over.... introducing my latest project.

 

 

This one took me an entire week to complete but it was so worth it. It is super soft and I think the colours turned out so nice too! Gave this one away already but cant wait to get started on one for my little girl! Im thinking I will try to spell out her name.
